This was held on Sunday 18th May, at which Martin Nicholls, the Christian Aid Unit Manager for Devon and Dorset, gave a moving and challenging presentation during a service of worship, prayer and commitment to mark the close of Christian Aid Week and its accompanying street collections. Prayer for Christian Aid Week 2008
God of the rushing wind,
Sweep through my indifference.
God of the fiery flames,
ignite my compassion.
God of the many voices,
Open my mouth to speak out against injustice.
That through your Spirit
And my actions
This world may be transformed.
